Wrenhaven Elementary

Custis Pendleton, former CEO of Pendleton Inc., finds himself in one dire situation after another, leading him to become borderline broke and having to adapt to living a normal working class life. With no other options, he takes up a job as a kindergarten teacher at a local elementary school, only using the job as a last resort while he looks for something better. But he ends up staying around for longer than anticipated, learning more about life beyond his wealthy little bubble he had previously inhabited and becomes more than the previously selfish and arrogant businessman he used to be.

The Story

WrenE is a modern AU that primarily follows Custis, looking at how he adapts to "regular" life. We see his character develop over the course of a decade and how he interacts with other people in his new life.

The story balances between Custis's home life (with his twin brother Morgan and later his nibling Jordan) and his work life (with various coworkers like Daud, Callista, Waverly, and Jessamine). It works out mainly like a slice-of-life story where we focus on day-to-day events, with various "story arcs" to tie them together.
